Htc Hd Mini Price and release Date Confirmed
Htc have now launched their latest 'mini' phone, the Htc Hd Mini is the latest model to bear the mini name in what seems like a year of new, minuscule mobile phones.
This new expanding to the Htc Hd2 series follows on from the flourishing Htc Touch Hd but is a far smaller contribution packed with industrialized features. The new Hd Mini takes most of what the Hd2 offers and squeezes it into a new, smaller and sleeker housing for a more pocket cordial device.
Gone is the 4.3 inch touch screen with is probably the most known selling point of the Hd2 in favour of a 3.2 inch touch screen in the new mini version, any way the majority of the features remain the same with WiFi, 3.5G support, Gps and digital compass, Window Media Player, Fm Radio and Htc have also managed to still include a 3.5mm audio jack for using suitable headphones.
So, how much smaller is the Htc Hd Mini in comparison to the previous Hd2 model? Well, it is estimated at nearby 30% smaller with its weight stripped back to just 110g and dimensions of 103 x 58 x 12mm.
The new Mini Hd phone will be made ready as of April 12th as a Sim Free and unlocked mobile phone, this will allow the consumer to continue using their existing Sim card containing any saved contacts as well as transferring their mobile number over to their new handset.
The first purchase price at point of publish is £339.99 which compared with the Hd2 at £469.99 is a much more affordable phone, the majority of the new phones from other manufacturers to take on the new 'mini' name are authentically aimed at the fashion and youth shop so it will be piquant to see just who is attracted to this latest Htc phone.
The other models bearing the 'mini' tag include the Nokia N97 Mini, Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro, the N97 Mini is a smaller version of the very favorite N97 model with a more covenant footprint whilst the two new X10 models are set to be the smallest Android phones available.
The Htc Hd Mini is due to be released nearby the same time as two other new models from the manufacturer, these include the new Htc Desire and Htc Legend, the Desire is an Htc own brand version of the Google Nexus One (also artificial by Htc) but with added the Sense user interface and flash support.
